Jeremy "Jay" Davis, PhD

Psychologist

Our lives can be thought of as a journey with many twists and turns. Sometimes we experience challenges or difficulties and could benefit from having the perspective and guidance of a person trained to help us deal with situations and the accompanying emotions, and take appropriate steps to a better life.

As a licensed psychologist, my role is to help you sort out and process what’s going on, gain insight on issues that persist, and consider adjustments in core beliefs and lifestyles.

My formal training includes bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees in the mental health field. For several decades, I have worked with adults as well as school-age youth and their parents, as both an evaluator and counselor/therapist.

My initial goal in therapy is to help create an open and respectful relationship, in a safe and accepting setting. I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, knowing that what works well for one person or situation may not be as effective in others. Together with the client, we navigate through your situation, with empathy and make use of best treatment practices.
